Home Birth During Pandemic

With the world in the state that it’s in more and more mothers have chosen home birth this year and I don’t blame them. With hospital restrictions this past year even I am having a hard time getting into births. This session was defiantly a blessing for me this year. I connected with a beautiful mother during her snowy maternity session and we decided to move forward with a birth session at her home. I live about 45 minutes away but happened to be in the area that day with my equipment. Dad soon let me know mom was progressing quickly. I arrived shortly after the midwife team and baby girl was born 30 minutes later. Mom birthed fiercely and flawlessly with the most gorgeous makeup. Mom hadn’t realized she had spent the whole morning laboring while going about doing her makeup etc. She honestly looked so amazing!
